Requirement for Business Visa

1. Original Passport with at least six months validity and available visa pages.
2. Duly filled one Business Visa application form with two photos taken within the past six months. The “Visa Form” and “Work History Form” must be filled completely.
3. Business letter of U.S. Company and an invitation letter from Myanmar Business Organizations with a copy of its valid registration certificate from Myanmar Investment Commission/ Ministries concerned.
4. Prepaid Self-Address Return Envelope.
   (For those who apply through courier services can use FedEx, UPS or USPS with Tracking Number.
   Consulate-General of Myanmar assumes not responsible for any delay or loss of mail or documents while under the custody of courier services. The applicants shall not reuse the tracking numbers of all used and submitted envelopes.)
5. Copy of Flight Schedule/ Itinerary.
6. Payment can be payable to “Consulate-General of Myanmar” in Cashier's Check or money order only. Payment arranged through Cash/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Personal Check is not accepted.
7. Incomplete applications will be rejected at the counter. Incomplete applications through courier services will be sent back to its original destination.

Visa Information

• The validity of (Single Entry) is three months from the date of issue, which cannot be renewed or refunded.
• The stay for Business visa is 70 days, which is extendable.
• Multiple Journey Entry Business Visa (MJEV) validity varies from minimum 3 months to maximum 1 year from the date of issue.
• Application of Multiple Journey Entry Visa (MJEV) is considered and issued on a case by case basis at the direction of the Visa Officer. However, First time visitors for business purpose are not eligible to apply Multiple Journey Entry
• Business Visa (MJEV).

Photography Guide

• The photograph must have been taken within the last six months.
• The photograph should be taken in color and must be with a white background.
• Side or angled views are Not accepted.
• Photo Size: 35 mm x 45 mm or standard photo of 2 in x 2 in
• Photo Appearance: The photograph must be a full-face view in which the visa applicant is facing the camera directly.
• Digital Photos: Digitally reproduced photographs must be reproduced without discernible pixels or dot patterns.
• Photocopied photographs are NOT accepted.
