Requirement for Employment Visa
Original Passport with at least six months validity and available visa pages.
Duly filled one Employment Visa application form with two photos taken within the past six months. The “Visa Form” and “Work History Form” must be filled completely.
An invitation letter and an appointment letter from Myanmar Company with a copy of its valid registration certificate from Myanmar Investment Commission/Ministries concerned.
Copy of Flight Schedule/ Itinerary.
Payment of USD 50 (US$ Fifty only) per applicant for Employment visa fees can be made payable to “Consulate-General of Myanmar” in Cashier's Check or money order only.Payment arranged through Cash/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Personal Check is not accepted.
Prepaid Self-Address Return Envelope. (For those who apply through courier services can use FedEx, UPS or USPS with Tracking Number. Consulate-General of Myanmar assumes not responsible for any delay or loss of mail or documents while under the custody of courier services. The applicants shall not reuse the tracking numbers of all used and submitted envelopes.)
Incomplete applications will be rejected at the counter. Incomplete applications through courier services will be sent back to its original destination.
Visa Information
The stay for Employment Visa is exactly 70 days, which is extendable.
The validity of the Employment Visa is 3 months from the date of issue, which cannot be renewed or refunded. Consulate-General of Myanmar will issue visa for complete application as soon as receive it. Consulate-General of Myanmar will not be taking any responsible for too early and too late applications.
Photography Guide
The photograph must have been taken within the last six months
The photograph should be taken in color and must be with a white background.
Side or angled views are Not accepted.
Photo Size: 35 mm x 45 mm or standard photo of 2 in x 2 in
Photo Appearance: The photograph must be a full-face view in which the visa applicant is facing the camera directly.
Digital Photos: Digitally reproduced photographs must be reproduced without discernible pixels or dot patterns.
