Requirement for Gratis Diplomatic / Official Courtesy Visa
- Original Passport with at least six months validity and available visa pages.
- An Official Letter from the State Department or the United Nations or Concerned Department in the U.S. and invitation letter from the Ministries concerned from Myanmar side (for officials).
- Prepaid Self-Addressed Return Envelope.
(For those who apply through courier services can use FedEx, UPS or USPS with Tracking Number. Consulate-General of Myanmar assumes not responsible for any delay or loss of mail or documents while under the custody of courier services. The applicants shall not reuse the tracking numbers of all used and submitted envelopes.) - Copy of Flight Schedule/Itinerary.

The stay and validity of the GDC/GOC Visa will be issued according to the approval of concerned authority of Myanmar.

Photography Guide
- The photograph must have been taken within the last six months
- The photograph should be taken in color and must be with a white background.
- Side or angled views are Not accepted.
- Photo Size: 35 mm x 45 mm or standard photo of 2 in x 2 in
- Photo Appearance: The photograph must be a full-face view in which the visa applicant is facing the camera directly.
- Digital Photos: Digitally reproduced photographs must be reproduced without discernible pixels or dot patterns.
- Photo copied photographs are NOT accepted.
