Permanent Secretary U Chan Aye attends the ASEAN Senior Officials' Meeting

U Chan Aye, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the ASEAN Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) which was held on 5 January 2022 via video conference.
The meeting was chaired by Her Excellency EAT Sopheia, Secretary of State, ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia and was attended by the ASEAN Senior Officials and representatives from ASEAN Member States. Deputy Secretary General for ASEAN Political and Security Community of the ASEAN Secretariat also attended the Meeting.
The Meeting discussed matters pertaining to the preparation of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Retreat which will be held on 19 January 2022 in Siem Reap, timing for the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and related meetings, the concept paper on Strengthening ASEAN' Capacity and Institutional Effectiveness, the concept paper on Mainstreaming Four Priority Areas of the ASEAN Outlook on Indo-Pacific and follow-up to the ASEAN Leaders' Meeting which was held on 24 April 2021.
At the meeting, U Chan Aye congratulated Cambodia for assuming the Chairmanship of ASEAN. He also welcomed Cambodia's initiatives on the ASEAN Community building efforts, and reiterated that Myanmar will work with Cambodia in promoting ASEAN centrality and unity in line with the established principles and procedures of ASEAN.

နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ အမြဲတမ်းအတွင်းဝန် ဦးချမ်းအေးသည် ၅-၁-၂၀၂၂ ရက်နေ့တွင် ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သည့် အာဆီယံအဆင့်မြင့်အရာရှိကြီးများအစည်းအဝေးသို့ Video conference မှတစ်ဆင့် တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါအစည်းအဝေးကိုကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံမှအမြဲတမ်းအတွင်းဝန်/အာဆီယံ အဆင့်မြင့် အရာရှိ H.E. EAT Sophea က အစည်းအဝေး သဘာပတိပြုလုပ်ကာ ကျင်းပခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး အာဆီယံ အဆင့်မြင့်အရာရှိကြီးများနှင့် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ အာဆီယံ အတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ်ရုံး၏ အာဆီယံနိုင်ငံရေးနှင့် လုံခြုံရေးအသိုက်အဝန်းဆိုင်ရာ ဒုတိယ အတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ်လည်း အစည်းအဝေးသို့ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အစည်းအဝေးတွင် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံ၊ ဆီရမ်ရိမြို့၌ ၁၉-၁-၂၀၂၂ရက်နေ့တွင် ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်မည့် အာဆီယံနိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးများသီးသန့်အစည်းအဝေးကို ကြိုတင် ပြင်ဆင်ခြင်း၊ (၄၀)ကြိမ်မြောက်နှင့် (၄၁)ကြိမ်မြောက် အာဆီယံထိပ်သီးအစည်းအဝေးများ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်မည့် အဆိုပြုနေ့ရက်၊ အာဆီယံ၏ စွမ်းဆောင်မှုနှင့် အဖွဲ့အစည်းအလိုက် ထိရောက်ခိုင်မာစွာဆောင်ရွက်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ အဆိုပြုစာတမ်း၊ အင်ဒို-ပစိဖိတ်ဆိုင်ရာ အာဆီယံအမြင်သဘောထား၏ ဦးစားပေးနယ်ပယ်(၄)ခုကိစ္စ အဆိုပြုစာတမ်းနှင့် ၂၀၂၁ခုနှစ်၊ ဧပြီလ၂၄ရက်နေ့တွင် ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သည့် အာဆီယံခေါင်းဆောင်များအစည်းအဝေး၏ ဆက်လက်အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ဆောင်ရွက်ရန်ကိစ္စရပ်များကို ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပါသည်။
အစည်းအဝေးတွင် ဦးချမ်းအေးက ၂၀၂၂ခုနှစ်၊ အာဆီယံဥက္ကဌအဖြစ် ထမ်းဆောင်သည့် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံအား ဂုဏ်ယူဝမ်းမြောက်ကြောင်း၊ အာဆီယံအသိုက်အဝန်းကို တည်ဆောက်ရာတွင် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံမှ ဦးဆောင်မည့်လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များကိုလည်း ကြိုဆိုပါကြောင်း၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအနေဖြင့် အာဆီယံက အတည်ပြုချမှတ်ထားသည့်စည်းမျဉ်းများနှင့် လုပ်ထုံးလုပ်နည်းများ နှင့်အညီ အာဆီယံ၏ ဗဟိုအချက်အချာကျမှုနှင့် စည်းလုံးညီညွတ်မှုတို့ကို တိုးမြှင့်ရာတွင် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံနှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ ပြုလုပ်သွားမည် ဖြစ်ပါကြောင်း ထပ်လောင်း အတည်ပြုပြောကြားခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။
