Requirement for Social Visa

1. Original Passport/ Travel Document valid for no less than six (6) months with at least two (2) successive empty visa pages.
2. Duly filled one Social Visa application and Work History Form with two photos taken within the past six months. The forms must be filled completely.
3. Letter Addressed to Consulate General.
4. One Completed CV form. Those who visited Myanmar for the second time or more within one year may require completing the CV form.
5. The parents request letter and their passport copies are needed for accompanying children application if apply visa separately. 6. Prove of ex-Myanmar citizenship. Either a copy of national registration card or card number or a copy of proves document expressing relationship with Myanmar citizen relative.
6. Copy of Flight Schedule/ Itinerary
7. Payment can be payable to "Consulate-General of Myanmar" in Cashier's Check or money order only. Payment arranged through Cash/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Personal Check is not accepted.
8. Prepaid Self-Addressed Return Envelope or Airway bill
   (For those who apply through courier services can use FedEx, UPS or USPS with Tracking Numbers. Consulate General of Myanmar assumes no responsible for any delay or loss of mail or documents while under the custody of courier services. The applicants shall not reuse the tracking numbers of all used and submitted envelopes.)
9. Incomplete applications will be rejected at the counter. Incomplete applications through courier services will be sent back to its original destination.

Visa Fees

VISA Information

• The validity of Social (Single Entry) is three months from the date of issue, which cannot be renewed or refunded.
• The stay for the Social visa is 70 days, which is extendable.
• Multiple Journey Entry Social Visa (MJEV) validity varies from minimum 3 months to maximum 1 year from the date of issue. Duration/Period of stay in Myanmar is restricted to ten weeks from the date of arrival.
• Application of Multiple Journey Entry Social Visa (MJEV) will be considered on a case by case basis. However, first time visitors and Travel Document holder are not eligible to apply (MJEV).

Photography Guide

• The photograph must have been taken within the last six months
• The photograph should be taken in color and must be with a white or off-white background.
• Side or angled views are Not accepted.
• Photo Size : 35 mm x 45 mm or standard photo of 2 in x 2 in
• Photo Appearance : The photograph must be a full-face view in which the visa applicant is facing the camera directly.
• Digital Photos : Digitally reproduced photographs must be reproduced without discernible pixels or dot patterns.
• Photocopied photographs are NOT accepted.

လူမှုရေးအလည်အပတ်ပြည်ဝင်ဗီဇာလျှောက်ထားသူများအတွက် လိုအပ်ချက်များ

• နိုင်ငံကူးလက်မှတ်သည် သက်တမ်း(၆)လကျန်ရှိရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး နိုင်ငံကူးလက်မှတ်တွင် ဗီဇာ စာမျက်နှာ အလွတ် အနည်းဆုံး(၂)မျက်နှာ ကျန်ရှိရန်လိုအပ်ပါသည်။ သက်တမ်း(၆)လနှင့် အောက်ဖြစ်နေခြင်းနှင့် ဗီဇာစာမျက်နှာအလွတ် မကျန်ရှိသောသော Passport/ Travel Document များအား ဗီဇာထုတ်ပေးခြင်ကို မဆောင်ရွက်ပေးပါ။
• ဗီဇာလျှောက်လွှာ၊ ကိုယ်ရေးရာဇဝင်များအား ပြည့်စုံစွာဖြင့်စွက်တင်ပြရမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
• ၂" x ၂" အရွယ် ကာလဓါတ်ပုံ (၂)ပုံ ပူးတွဲတင်ပြရပါမည်။ ဓါတ်ပုံနောက်ခံသည် အဖြူရောင်ဖြစ်ရပါမည်။
• လျှောက်လွှာများတွင် ဗီဇာလျှောက်ထားသည့် ကာယကံရှင်လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးရန်လိုအပ်ပါသည်။
  (လျှောက်ထား သူမဟုတ်ဘဲ အခြားတစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်က လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးသည်ကို စိစစ်တွေ့ရှိရပါက ဗီဇာ ထုတ်ပေးမည် မဟုတ်ပါ။)
• မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့ သွားရောက်မည့် အသွား/အပြန် လေယာဉ်ခရီးစဉ်အား ပူးတွဲတင်ပြရပါမည်။
• နိုင်ငံကူးလက်မှတ်အသစ်နှင့် လျှောက်ထားလာပါက ယခင်ကရရှိထားသည့် လူမှုရေးဗီဇာမိတ္တူကို ပူးတွဲ တင်ပြရန် လိုအပ်ပါသည်။
• မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသား/ နိုင်ငံသားဟောင်းမှ မွေးဖွားလာသော ကလေးများအတွက် လူမှုရေးအလည်အပတ် ဗီဇာ လျှောက်ထားရာ၌ မိဘနှစ်ပါး၏မေတ္တာရပ်ခံစာ (သို့မဟုတ်) နိုင်ငံကူးလက်မှတ်မိတ္တူပူးတွဲ လျှောက်ထားရန် လိုအပ်ပါသည်။
• လူမှုရေးအလည်အပတ်ဗီဇာ (၇၀)ရက် သက်တမ်းကုန်သည့်အခါ၊ သက်ဆိုင်ရာမြို့နယ် လူဝင်မှုကြီးကြပ် ရေးနှင့် ပြည်သူ့အင်အားဦးစီးဌာနရုံး၌ ထပ်မံသက်တမ်းတိုးနိုင်ပါသည်။
• လူမှုရေးဗီဇာအတွက် ကျသင့်ငွေ

(ပထမဆုံးအကြိမ် လူမှုရေးအလည်အပတ်ဗီဇာလျှောက်ထားသူများနှင့် Travel Document ဖြင့် လူမှုရေးဗီဇာ လျှောက်ထားသူများအနေဖြင့် Social visa (Multiple) လျှောက်ထားခွင့်မရှိပါ။)
• ငွေပေးသွင်းခြင်း
  • ကောင်စစ်ဝန်ချုပ်ရုံးသို့ အခွန်အခများ ပေးဆောင်ရာတွင် Money Order (သို့မဟုတ်) Cashier's Check ဖြင့် ပေးသွင်းရန်၊ Personal Check နှင့် ငွေသားလက်မခံပါ။
  • Pay to နေရာတွင် Consulate General of Myanmar ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ From နေရာတွင် ပေးသွင်းသူအမည်နှင့် လိပ်စာတို့ကို ဖြည့်သွင်းရပါမည်။
• စာပို့စနစ်ဖြင့် ပေးပို့ခြင်း
  • USPS /FedEx/ UPS စသည် တို့ဖြင့် မြန်မာကောင်စစ်ဝန်ချုပ်ရုံးသို့ ပေးပို့နိုင်ပါသည်။ မြန်မာ ကောင်စစ်ဝန်ချုပ်ရုံးမှ ဆောင်ရွက်ပြီးစီးပါက ပြန်လည်ပေးပို့နိုင်ရန်အတွက် လျှောက်ထားသူ၏ လိပ်စာ ရေးသွင်းထားပြီး တံဆိပ်ခေါင်းကပ်၍လည်းကောင်း (သို့မဟုတ်) ကျသင့်တန်ဖိုးပေးချေပြီးဖြစ်သော အပြန် စာအိတ်(Return Envelope)ကိုလည်းကောင်း တစ်ပါတည်းထည့်သွင်း ပေးရပါမည်။
