1. Hon. Consul General U Tin Yu attended a Virtual Meeting discussed by Mr. Eric Garcetti, Mayor of the City of Los Angeles, to the members of Los Angeles Consular Corps (LACC) about the COVID-19 related developments in Los Angeles, on 20-7-2020 (Monday) at (14:00) p.m.
2. During the meeting, Mayor Mr. Eric Garcetti briefed over the updated information on the control of COVID-19 within Los Angeles and discussed about the current racism issues taking place in the US, and addressed the questions submitted in advance by the LACC members.
3. In his address, Mayor Mr. Garcetti responded to the question raised by the Myanmar Consulate General in Los Angeles by affirming that the government of US anticipates successful formulation of COVID-19 vaccines in another nine-month of time and its willingness to not only distribute the vaccines equally at the local and national level but also across nations based on mutual-aid agreements once the formulation process completes, and he also mentioned to seek collaboration with the foreign governments with regards to the vaccine distribution.
4. Among the (102) members of LACC, Consuls General from (75) Consulate Generals participated in the Virtual Meeting and the Mayor responded to the questions raised by Consulate General of Korea, Myanmar, Spain, Ecuador, Israel and South Africa respectively.

၁။ လော့စ်အိန်ဂျယ်လိစ်မြို့၊ မြန်မာကောင်စစ်ဝန်ချုပ်ရုံးမှ ကောင်စစ်ဝန်ချုပ် ဦးတင်ယုအနေဖြင့် COVID-19 ကူးစက်ရောဂါနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ လော့စ်အိန်ဂျယ်လိစ်မြို့၏ နောက်ဆုံးဖြစ်ပေါ်တိုးတက်မှု အခြေအနေများကို မြို့တော်ဝန် Mr. Eric Garcetti က ၂၀-၇-၂၀၂၀ ရက် (တနင်္လာနေ့)၊ နေ့လယ် (၁၄:၀၀) နာရီတွင် လော့စ်အိန်ဂျယ်လိစ်မြို့အခြေစိုက်သံတမန်များအဖွဲ့ (Los Angeles Consular Corps-LACC) အား ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားသည့် ရုပ်သံအစည်းအဝေးသို့ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

၃။ လော့စ်အိန်ဂျယ်လိစ်မြို့တော်ဝန် Mr. Garcetti မှ ပြုလုပ်သည့် Virtual Meeting သို့ LACC အဖွဲ့ဝင် ကောင်စစ်ဝန်ချုပ်ရုံးစုစုပေါင်း (၁၀၂) ရုံးအနက် (၇၅) ရုံးမှ ကောင်စစ်ဝန်ချုပ်များ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပြီး မြို့တော်ဝန် Mr. Garcettiက တောင်ကိုရီးယား၊ မြန်မာ၊ စပိန်၊ အီကွေဒေါ၊ အစ္စရေးနှင့် တောင်အာဖရိက နိုင်ငံတို့မှ ကောင်စစ်ဝန်ချုပ်များ၏ မေးခွန်းများကို ပြန်လည်ဖြေကြားပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။
