Honourable Consul General Mr. Tin Yu from the Consulate General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Los Angeles attended the 13th LA Maha Thingyan Festival on 14-4-2019 at the Mark Keppel High School located in the city of Alhambra. The Consul General then conveyed a Congratulatory message and delivered the Certificate to the Southern California Burmese Association.

Council members, Mayors, Congressmen, presidents from the Southern California, Mayor for San Gabriel, respective presidents for the Burmese American Medical Association, Burmese American Dental Association, Burmese-American Science and Engineer Society, Southern California Burmese-Chinese-American Association and Network of Myanmar American Association and invited guests attended and participated in the festival.

During the ceremony, all the invited special guests delivered New Year speeches and officially inaugurated the ceremony by cutting ribbons and herein thereafter prosperously celebrated the Myanmar Thingyan Festival by Myanmar traditional dances and songs performances and Myanmar traditional food bazaar.
